N.Y. State Century farm in the Hudson Valley. Come harvest abundant apple
varieties during the months of September and October. We offer several
size bags to harvest into and as we’ve always done you may mix and
match apple varieties from the barn and from the trees. Enjoy fresh pressed
cider and a Dutch Threshing Barn full of all the country favorite food
and gift items. The Hurds are open for picking fruit and trekking their
cornmaze 4 acre challenge,” The Big Apple: Our Empire State”,
daily, from 10-5. This busy farm does specialize in apple picking educational
school group tours during the week and they host exciting activities each
weekend, for kids of all ages. Among the favorite weekend activities when
the farm is also open from 10-5, are hayrides, the barrel cow train, giant
kids corral , critter corner,the apple launchers to test your aim, trike
trak, on farm hiking trails, fish feeding dock, one wiggle through mini
maze just for the lil’ farmers, the popular designed interactive
maze challenge with flags and maps and 12 checkpoints to locate, NEW campfire
sites and NEW food pavilion.

parents, Red Delicious and Ralls Janet, an antique
apple that goes back to Thomas Jefferson in 1793. We're glad
this popular Japanese apple is grown in New York now!
