Imagine entertaining your family and friends out in the country -- at a real working farm and orchard, complete with historic barn, cornfield mazes and a fish pond! Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy farm fun, fresh air, and delicious treats to eat.

Our farm party facilities include your own reserved tents, exciting farm activities for the group, and participation in any scheduled seasonal special events. It's a old-fashioned farm experience - take a hayride, harvest apples from our orchard, pick pumpkins, feed our farm animals, fish in the pond ... and more!
Campfires: Toast marshmallows ... or toes!
Rent a campfire site for your group and gather 'round for some great Fall fun on the farm. Eat sticky S'mores or grill some weenies, sing a few songs, and make a few memories with friends and family.
$50 for 3 hours. We provide firewood (and will get your fire started!), benches, and table.

Our Popular Children's Birthday Packages
All parties include 2-hour rental of a reserved tent, centrally located to all farm activities, and picnic tables for your use -- or we have several campfire picnic sites to choose from.. Restroom facilities and handwashing stations are conveniently located nearby.
Activities included in farm admission (and available to party guests) are hayride, apple launchers, kids play corral with giant slide, the "Trike Track", cornfield maze and mini-maze, and the "Cow Train". Enjoy feeding fish from the dock at our pond, as well as our friendly farm animals. Wander along the EcoTrail of Discovery.
Little Farmers Party
This basic package includes farm admission and "Hurry Back to Hurd's coupons for each child, as well as a special gift for the birthday child.
$10 per child. $100 minimum for the party.
Apple Pickin' Party
This package includes everything from the basic package, plus -- guests can each? harvest a 1/2-peck bag of apples from the orchard OR a Sugar Pie Pumpkin (link to blog article about Sugar Pie Pumpkins) right from the patch!
$12 per child. $120 minimum for the party.
Hurd's Harvest Party
Our special package includes options from Little Farmers and Apple Pickin', plus we will provide a picnic lunch! Grilled all beef hot dogs, condiments, chips, juice, cupcakes or cake, napkins, and a goody bag! Additionally, a Farm Hand will be available to assist you -- escorting guests to activities, helping with the picnic and clean-up, etc.
$20 per child. $200 minimum for the party.
Bringing Party Parents?
No problem! Accompanying parents may purchase a discounted admission for $8.00 each.

Group Tours or Events at Hurd's Farm
Groups of 10 and more may reserve facilities at the farm during our Fall season, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. We will enjoy giving you a tour of a real working farm and orchard, while providing activities to delight both young and old. A typical group tour package includes a hayride through the orchards, time to harvest a bag of apples and to enjoy pumpkin picking or collecting colorful gourds right from the patch. Visit the fish pond. Feed our friendly farm animals. Get lost with your friends and family in the cornfield maze. Bring your own picnic -- or let us cook something up for you! As always, a visit to the farm would not be complete without shopping the market in our Big Red Barn.
A reasonable per/person fee will include all of this and more!
