Heritage and Harvest Weekend! Celebrate times of old this weekend at Hurds with plenty of apples on trees waiting to be harvested. Pumpkins in patch and around barn are perfect for carving or process now for Halloween. All our fall VIP activities are open 10AM-4PM (we only close the bounce for rain). Get your apple cider donuts. Only 1 week left till the season ends!
Saturday 10/27 10AM-11AM Indian Corn Decoration Activity
Create a mini Indian corn from beads and pipe cleaners. Adorable! Would make a great decoration on the Thanksgiving table. Quick, easy, and fun for kids & adults.
Sunday 10/28 10AM - the afternoon. 4H Animal Presenations
Come meet some animals and their kid handlers. The 4H club will be coming to the farm with plenty of animals to see, touch, and learn more about. A great local organization for kids and teens. (Weather will determine end time)
Sunday 10/28 1-2PM Spooktacular Cemetery FUN
Preserve some history by creating a gravestone rubbing in our historic cemetery. Hunt for the oldest grave. Find the most interesting decorations. Capture some of the catchy tombstone phrases from the 17 and 1800's. It's going to be spooktacular.
