Healthy Apple Tree Workshop

Come to the farm for this workshop with lead grower and owner Charles Hurds to learn about some of the scouting you should be doing, and what you can do if you see a problem. Learn how to prevent and treat some of the most common pests that can affect the health of your home apple trees.

Learn some expert planting tips to increase your chances of having a bountiful apple harvest.
Workshop includes some hands-on activities along with selecting the saplings you will take home and plant.

Apple Tree Trimming Workshop

Apple trees really need trimming all year long.
At this workshop with Charles Hurd you will get your own tools to practice with at the farm that you will take home and use on your own trees.
We will discuss seasonal pruning, best practices, and how to use pruning as a natural way to increase apple growth and production.
