Halloween is one of our favorite holidays, and we're filling the farm with costumes, candy, fall fun, and memories that will last long after the season ends. Don't miss your last chance this year to experience Hurds Family Farm!

👻 Trick-or-Treat Around the Farm
Wear your favorite Halloween costume and your Ultimate Activity Wristband when you visit Saturday or Sunday, then trick-or-treat your way around the farm! We'll have treats waiting at some of our most popular attractions, making your day full of surprises and smiles for kids—and kids at heart.
 
🔥 Saturday Night Spooktacular - October 24th 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
This is a special evening event and requires separate admission from daytime activities.
Admission for Kids: $13 & Adults: $5

As the sun goes down, the farm transforms into a glowing autumn playground featuring:

Put on your running shoes—or your favorite costume—and join us for one of the most unique races of the season!

Early registration ends September 1st.

Many runners love competing in spooky costumes, so race T-shirts are optional. We recommend ordering your shirt during registration, as we will not have shirts available to purchase on the night of the event.

Bring your favorite four-legged friend dressed in their best Halloween costume and join our Doggie Costume Party! Meet other pups, snap adorable photos, and stop by the Bar in the Barn, where your dog can perform a trick for a treat. 🐾

Please remember:

• 🦮 All dogs must remain on a leash

• 💧 Bring water

• 🦴 Bring clean-up bags

Looking for unforgettable Halloween pictures?
 
Visit our farm graveyard featuring historic stones dating back to the 1700s, surrounded by spectacular fall foliage—a one-of-a-kind backdrop for your family's Halloween memories. Superheroes can fly on the zipline for a fun action photo! Zombies can creep out of the corn maze. Princesses can sit on the throne in our pumpkin patch.
 
After all that fun, stop by the Café for:

• 🍪 Locally baked Halloween cookies

• 🌽 Fresh cornbread

• 🍕 Pizza made with New York-grown flour

 
Then capture one more photo featuring one of our Spooktacular Cocktails, crafted with local spirits and plenty of Halloween spirit.

Yes, we'll still have apples to pick from the trees.
 
Yes, we'll still have pumpkins waiting in the patch.

For one night only, Chef Stef, a Culinary Institute of America-trained, award-winning local chef, will present a seasonal five-course menu inspired by the flavors of our fall apple and pumpkin harvest.

 

Each course will be thoughtfully paired with a beverage selected to complement the food, featuring local ingredients and Hudson Valley craft beverages.

 

This is more than dinner at a restaurant. It is a one-night-only farm-to-table experience celebrating the harvest, the season, and the place where many of the evening’s ingredients were harvested.
