What's NEW for Apple Picking Field Trips 2019?

We can not contain our excitement!!

We are deep into planning our school year calendar and things are changing for the better. To start, we decided our little ones deserve a day all to themselves. If you are a nursery school, preschool, kindergarten,1st grade or special needs group then Monday is your special day at the farm. You will get to enjoy the farm without the hustle and bustle of our large city schools that come for a visit. Take your time mozzying from one activity to another, feel no rush getting on and off the hay wagon.

School groups are still welcome Monday thru Friday, but we are limiting each day to two time slots, 9:30 and 11:30. (That said don’t wait to pick your slot on our calendar which is currently open for scheduling. This will allow for a more relaxed experience on the farm, giving all groups more time to enjoy the activities. In addition to this, we are extending our hay wagon to a double rather than the single wagon it currently is. The beauty of this is less waiting time for the hay wagon to return and more time for you and your friends to be in the orchard picking apples together.

Our school group price remains the same year after year despite the fact that we add new wonderful adventures. Each student pays $12 which includes all the activities of the day and apple or pumpkin picking. Our farm has more activities then any farm in the area. We will create a perfect plan to meet the needs of your group by choosing from the following activities: Hay Ride, Apple Picking, Pumpkin Picking, Bounce Pillow, Giant Slide, Obstacle Course, Duck Racing, Gem Mining, ABC Trail, Corn Maze, Playground area, Storybook trail, Animal feeding & Fish feeding.

Your group also has the opportunity to indulge in our apple cider donuts, hot/cold/frozen apple cider and our wonderful barn market. All groups will get use of our covered pavilion or private tent and each group will have their very own staff member to personally take you from activity to activity, answer any questions, connect with your children and simply be of assistance.

To make your visit perfect we highly recommend you come prepared. Please split your children into groups of 25 ahead of time. The lead teacher of each group should have a set of name tags with each child's name on it so they can simply peel and stick it to the apple bag and/or pumpkin. Staff and children should wear closed toe shoes as well as appropriate clothing for the weather. Bring water, lunch/snacks, bug spray/sunblock.

Before your favorite time slot is taken go to our website below and book your visit. See you soon.
